Participation in the world-renowned EuroPerio11 symposium in Vienna with the support of MOST program, funded by the EU, became a game-changer for a Belarusian maxillofacial surgeon Kiryl Paliakou. This experience not only deepened his clinical expertise, but also opened his mind to new horizons: from launching his own clinic to contributing to surgical education across borders.
“EuroPerio11 offered a rare opportunity to learn directly from the best minds in our field. I didn’t just observe – I contributed, presented, and built connections that will shape the next stage of my career,” — the participant said.
As a result of participating in the EuroPerio11 congress, the surgeon significantly enhanced operational skills, particularly in the use of high-precision, AI-integrated surgical techniques. The event also facilitated the strengthening of professional ties with international experts and medical equipment suppliers, laying the foundation for future collaboration.
Additionally, active involvement in the symposium raised the participant’s visibility within the global surgical community, contributing to a stronger professional reputation on the international stage. Looking ahead, the experience has inspired concrete future plans, including the opening of a new clinic and the nostrification of a doctoral thesis, which will support academic integration within the European Union.
