Today, we share the story of a group of Belarusian psychologists who took part in a five-day summer training in the Italian city of Syracuse, made possible by the MOST+ programme. The training was organised by the HCC Italy Gestalt Institute and aimed to integrate the latest developments in Gestalt therapy theory with practical application.
“This training programme has significantly enhanced my professional potential through new theoretical knowledge, practical skills, personal growth and a holistic approach to therapy. In addition, the trip notably expanded my international network of professional contacts, increasing opportunities for collaboration and global perspectives. This will certainly be a contribution to my professional development and more effective therapeutic practice”, explained one of the group members.
The psychologists are now preparing a seminar to share the knowledge and skills they gained with their colleagues. They also plan to actively use the international network established during the mobility to foster collaboration between Belarusian professionals and their international peers, and to take part in qualitative research led by the Italian Gestalt Institute.
The MOST+ project is a mobility programme promoting professional exchanges between Belarusians and their colleagues from EU countries. It is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut.
